Austin - Mini - 1990

IN RISALTO: • Mini 998 model with a booklet prepared with 1380cc Group A engine • Equipped with ACI Sport Regularity Fiche (Category T, Period J2, Type 3C, Fiche “Racing”) • Competition-ready setup with welded roll-bar, complete racing instrumentation, and intercom system • Regularly registered, with plates and insured for competition and road use STORIA/PANORAMICA: The Mini, originally conceived as an avant-garde city car, has earned a special place in motorsport history thanks to its extraordinary dynamic qualities, low center of gravity, and distinctive “kart-like” setup. This example, based on a Mini 998 (as per circulation documents), has been transformed into a true Group A competition car with an engine enlarged to 1380 cc. The car is equipped with an ACI Sport Fiche and is eligible to participate in official track, hill climb, and regularity events. Being a regularly registered and plated specimen, it combines the racing specifications with road-use practicality. CARROZZERIA/VERNICIATURA: The shell is in sound and well-preserved condition. Being a full race-ready setup, the car includes a welded roll-bar to the chassis. The seller declares the structure free from relevant structural defects. INTERNI: The cockpit is equipped with professional competition racing specifications. The equipment includes a dedicated racing dashboard with full instrumentation (gauges, road trip, road map, digital chronograph, and digital odometer), an intercom system for pilot-navigator communication with headsets, hydraulic handbrake in aluminum, an extinguishing system, and an external engine kill switch compliant with ACI Sport race regulations. MECCANICA: The power unit is a prepared 1380 cc engine with twin HS6 carburetors, a sports camshaft, lightweight aluminum rocker arms, and a dedicated racing oil cooler. The suspension features adjustable competition setup, a carbon exhaust system on a direct-path manifold, front racing brake calipers, and lightened rear drums. The car is in perfect running order. DOCUMENTI: The car is supplied with circulation documents and Italian plates valid for ownership transfer. Accompanied by an ACI Sport Fiche for competitions.
