Aurora - Ipsilon Metal style - No reserve price - Fountain pen

We present at auction a timeless classic of contemporary Italian design signed Aurora: the dynamic and elegant Ipsilon fountain pen in its sought-after variant with a metal cap (Metal style). This model represents the perfect synthesis between the ancient Turin manufacturing tradition and a modern aesthetic, conceived for those who desire a reliable, daily instrument with great charm. The pen body and end cap are made of premium black glossy resin, creating a magnificent visual and tactile contrast with the elegant metal cap with a satin silver finish. To embellish the design, there are bright mirror-like metal accents and the unmistakable clip in the shape of a "Y", the iconic stylistic element that gives the name to the entire collection ("Ipsilon"). The cap head, also in black resin, closes the lines of the instrument with perfect symmetry. The heart of this fountain pen is the solid, reliable steel nib, enriched with the traditional engravings of the Aurora manufactory, designed to offer a smooth and precise writing experience, ideal for intensive use. The filling system is the practical cartridge or converter format. Close-up photographs confirm the total cleanliness and perfect integrity of the nib section and the feed. The pen’s condition is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The body resin appears solid and bright, and the satin finish of the cap is in excellent state, with only microscopic and physiological signs of surface wear due to normal careful handling. In line with our usual and rigorous policy of total transparency, it must be noted, however, that the outer black cardboard outer packaging shows evident chipping and superficial abrasions (clearly documented in the photographs provided in the gallery). This aesthetic detail concerns solely the external packaging and does not affect in any way the beauty, integrity, or perfect functionality of the pen. No personalized engravings are present. To enhance and complete this lot, the fountain pen is offered with its accompanying accessories, including the elegant original Aurora presentation box (with light contrasting interior) and the related instruction booklet. An excellent opportunity to enrich your desk with a dynamically characterful tool with quintessentially Italian charm.
