Aurora - auretta lusso gold plated - Pen

Splendid and exclusive original vintage Aurora lot, dating back to the golden age of the Turin manufacturer between the late 1970s and early 1980s. This lot represents a unique opportunity for collectors of fine Italian writing instruments, offering an extraordinary "Double Fountain Pen" configuration—a rare and exceptional pairing compared to the classic and more common fountain pen + ballpoint sets. Presented in its original case, this set celebrates the perfect chromatic and material contrast between gold and black resin: 1. Aurora Auretta "Lusso" Gold-Plated Fountain Pen: A stunning executive model entirely gold-plated. It features a refined and precious vertical ribbed pattern (Godronatura) that provides the pen with outstanding brilliance and reflections. Screw-on barrel closure. The cap bears the official "ITALY" engraving on the clip. Note: Tool internally inspected, cartridge not included. 2. Classic Aurora Auretta Black & Gold Fountain Pen: An iconic model with a clean, timeless design, with a barrel and cap in polished black resin and gold-toned fittings. This specific variant features the highly sought-after recessed flexible clip and a gold-plated band at the base of the cap bearing the official model name "Auretta" in an elegant vintage cursive. Conditions and Technical Details: • The Nibs (the centerpiece of the lot): Both pens are equipped with the iconic original gold-plated Aurora nib in a diamond shape (lozenge). As extensively shown by the close-up macro photos, the nibs are in superb condition: the tines are geometrically perfect, straight, clean, and show no signs of wear, bending, or scratches. An absolute rarity for instruments of this era. • Cosmetic Condition: Excellent state of conservation. The gold plating of the Lusso version is bright and perfectly uniform, free of blooming or wear. The black resin retains its original luster without cracks or deep scratches. The engravings on the caps are sharp and clearly legible. • Accessories: The set is housed inside its original hard case marked "AURORA made in Italy", with a coordinated black velvet interior and immaculate white satin lining. • Operation: Proprietary Aurora cartridge filling system or compatible converter. Intact instruments, pure collector’s items, not tested with ink. A top-tier lot for aesthetics, completeness, and the pristine condition of the nibs, ideal for enhancing a collection of Italian vintage pens or as a premium investment. Insured international shipping, professional custom packaging to guarantee the lot’s integrity.
