Rare multi-panel plate divided into 6 vignettes numbered (from no. 215 to no. 220). It shows prospective coastal views and maritime mountain profiles, once fundamental for commercial navigators and the routes of the East India Company. Each panel is enriched with detailed sailing ships and European warships of the era. Muscat (Muscat, Oman): Identified in panel 217 ("Baye de Musketta"). It shows the iconic and strategic fortified bay of the Omani capital. Qeshm Island (Iran): Panel 216 ("Isle de Kismus"), the largest island in the Persian Gulf, a historic hub in the Strait of Hormuz. Larak Island (Iran): Panel 215 ("Isle de Lareke"), a fortified island adjacent to Hormuz. Musandam Peninsula (Oman/UAE): Panel 218 ("Cap de Monsandon"), the spectacular and rugged mountainous area known as the "Fjords of Arabia". Coast of the Arabian Felix (Southern Oman / Yemen): Panels 219 and 220 ("Cote Meridionale de l'Arabie Heureuse"), a Roman historical name to denote the fertile southern region of the Arabian Peninsula. The specimen is presented in good overall state of preservation, considering the era (1732). The copper-plate engraving is sharp, contrasted, and well impressed on the strong eighteenth-century paper.
