Tutte le aste / Veicoli / Artwork - Porsche - IN CASE OF PORSCHE
25 x 20 x 10 cm Black wooden frame, engraved Plexiglas. With storage box. Limited edition 12/100. Catawiki Exclusive IN CASE OF PORSCHE twists the iconic safety case “Break Glass” into an elegant and minimalist automotive statement. Behind the engraved Plexiglass “IN CASE OF EMERGENCY – BREAK GLASS,” a Porsche key rests like a sacred object, ready to be released. The urgency here is not medical, it is mechanical. The urgency to hear the flat-six start. The urgency to feel the road. The Porsche urgency. The deep black frame evokes sobriety and German precision. The key, ultimate symbol of access to one of the legends of the automotive world, becomes a contemporary wall sculpture. The functional object becomes a collectible artifact. Made entirely by hand in France by Cartist, this work embodies the meeting of minimalist conceptual art and German automotive heritage. It plays with the codes of industrial design, desire and the modern obsession with performance. Who is Cartist? Born from the fusion of contemporary art and automotive passion, Cartist creates unique works blending paintings, sculptures and installations around the world of luxury and supercars. Each piece combines iconic design with strong cultural references, using noble materials such as carbon fiber, metal, authentic car keys or premium art prints. Cartist draws inspiration from the greatest artists and movements: Banksy, Warhol, Basquiat, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi Murakami, Kaws, Mr. Brainwash, Shepard Fairey, Richard Hamilton, Yayoi Kusama, Alec Monopoly, Pantone, Blek le Rat. The Cartist universe revolves around brands and myths that shape our imagination: Automotive: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, Maserati, Pagani, McLaren, BMW, Mercedes, AMG, Audi, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce. Watchmaking and luxury: Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Cartier, Omega, Hublot. Fashion and haute couture: Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Balenciaga, Off-White, Supreme. Pop culture and entertainment: Marvel, Avengers, Batman, Joker, Superman, Disney, Mickey, Scrooge McDuck, Lego, Nintendo, Pokémon, Sega. Lifestyle & consumer goods: Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Vans, Converse, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Red Bull, Dollar, Bitcoin, Ethereum. Whether it’s an exceptional gift, exclusive decoration or to enrich a collection of automotive and contemporary art, Cartist’s works embody a hybrid art that blends street art, pop art and mechanical art, where industrial irony meets fascination with luxury and speed. Artwork delivered with frame, engraved Plexiglas, Porsche key and certificate of authenticity. Available exclusively on Catawiki."
