Artwork - Porsche - I AM LIMITED EDITION - HOMMAGE BANKSY - 2024

I AM LIMITED EDITION 06/10 28 x 23 x 6 cm Wood frame, high-quality synthetic glass. Limited edition 06/10. Catawiki Exclusive With this artwork, Cartist revisits the universe of Banksy’s iconic rat, a clandestine figure turned symbol of urban freedom and contemporary insolence. The composition features this character in a self-assured, almost assertive pose, accompanied by a direct message inscribed as a visual manifesto: “I’M NOT WEIRD I AM LIMITED EDITION” This phrase transforms exclusion into distinction, and imperfection into status. The work plays on the idea that rarity is not an anomaly, but an identity. Next to the scene, a Porsche key reinforces this notion of exclusivity, introducing a tension between raw street art and the symbol of contemporary luxury. Created entirely by hand in France by Cartist, this piece explores individuality, difference and the value of what resembles nothing else. Who is Cartist? Jean Tourangin (Cartist) redefmes contemporary art by merging urban culture and automotive mythology. His works question rarity, identity and the codes of modern prestige. Artwork delivered with frame. Available exclusively on Catawiki.
