Title Hand-carved wooden decorative console – presumably India, circa 1900 – 74 cm Characterful, heavy wooden architectural console with rich hand-carved leaf motifs, graceful volutes and a geometric ornamental edge. Executed in solid hardwood; the exact wood type has not been determined. Dimensions: approximately 74 × 18 × 11 cm. Quantity: one piece. Condition In a well-worn state, with drying cracks, wear, localized wood loss and remnants of an older surface finish. The mounting holes are still present. View the detail photos for a good impression of the condition. A atmospheric object to present as (wall) decor or architectural accent.
