Extended description: Rare and splendid two-lamp pendant set, model "Crisol A660", designed by the celebrated international duo of designer Perry King (British) and Spaniard Santiago Miranda for the prestigious Italian manufacturer Arteluce (historic hallmark of excellence founded by Gino Sarfatti). The Crisol model perfectly embodies the early-80s aesthetic and technological research philosophy: a minimalist, lightweight design that appears to float in space. The ingenious feature of this project lies in the two extremely slender steel cables, which not only provide adjustable mechanical height support but also function as true low-voltage electrical conductors (12V). This engineering innovation eliminates the unsightly exposed traditional electrical cord. The light source body is made of satin translucent technopolymer in a chalice shape, diffusing a soft, pleasant ambient light to the sides. Inside, a parabolic aluminum reflector optimizes and directs the beam downward. The lower black plastic cap of each unit bears all molded-in marks certifying authenticity: "Arteluce - CRISOL A660 - Made in Italy - 12V 55W HL". The lot includes all original dismantled components necessary for installation: the two diffusers, the ceiling rosettes/counterweights coordinated to the ceiling, and the black mounting plates with their screws. An iconic piece of Italian industrial design history.
