Arteluce - Matteo Thun - Floor lamp - Pao F - Metal

A slender wooden line carries a soft plane of light, quietly and evenly set against the space. The Pao F is built around a slender cherry wood stand, placed on a low, streamlined metal pedestal. At the top rests a shallow cap of satin-finished Murano glass, which spreads the light broadly and diffusely upward. The combination of warm wood, soft glass and balanced proportions gives the lamp a light, almost graphic stance. The light operates indirectly and atmospherically, making the lamp present without sharpness or visual pressure. In the space, the Pao F functions as a calm, architectural light object. It emphasizes height and verticality and creates atmosphere through reflection rather than direct illumination. Even when unlit, the design retains its quiet, sculptural character.
