A distinctive and expressive solid bronze crucifix in Art Deco / modernist style, with a strong geometric design. The figure of Christ is strikingly integrated into the cross, with strongly stylized lines, outstretched arms, and an expressive, elaborated face. The combination of smooth bronze parts and the rougher, hammered texture of the background gives the whole piece a lot of depth and character. The bronze has a beautiful warm patina with golden-brown, copper-toned, and darker nuances.
