This concerns a stylish Art Deco vase with handle from Potterie Kennemerland in Velsen. This HANDCRAFT vase with model 132 was designed around 1929-1932 by C.J. Gellings. The drip glaze/flow glaze is a design by Eelke Snel. The vase has light relief and is executed in orange/light blue and features black with orange drip glaze. Because it is HANDCRAFT, every vase is different! This vase is depicted in several reference works, and a comparable specimen can be found on page 39 of the reference work "Aardewerk in stijl - De geschiedenis van de Potterie Kennermerland 1920-1942".
