Arnold Pastur – Landscape with pollard willows, 1912 Oil on canvas. Signed and dated 1912 lower right. A sunlit landscape with two pollard willows by the water. To the right a farmhouse with a red tiled roof, a figure on the path and geese at the water's edge; in the background a second farmstead reflected in the water. The work is painted with a fine, stippled touch and combines an impressionist treatment of light with a distinctive, naive visual language. Dimensions: canvas 65 × 55 cm; with frame 79 × 69 cm. Condition: in good shape. The painting is offered in a gold-coloured decorative frame.
