The piston-filling system has been inspected and is operational and functional, ensuring correct and smooth use. The ink window appears clear, allowing proper visualization of the fill level. The nib, with decorative engraving characteristic of the brand, is in very good condition, with no visible deformities or damages, offering proper writing after adjustment. The ebonite feed maintains its structural integrity. Overall, this is a piece that has been well preserved, ready for immediate use or to form part of a collection. Conservation recommendations It is recommended to use quality inks specific for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks or those with high load. If not used for a prolonged period, it is advisable to clean the system with warm water, dry it completely before storing, and keep the piece in a dry place, away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the filling system gently to preserve its mechanism. Good auction!
