It is fitted with 384 MB of RAM and its original Apple 20 GB hard drive: an honest, well-preserved configuration that respects the character of the machine. The computer has been fully disassembled and carefully cleaned inside and out. This allowed every area of the iMac to be inspected and refreshed before reassembly, so that this iconic design can be enjoyed as it should be. A fresh installation of Mac OS X 10.3 Panther has been performed using official Apple installation CDs. Starting it up brings back the genuine early-2000s Macintosh experience. The PRAM battery has been replaced, ensuring that the date and time remain saved even when the computer is unplugged. It is a small detail, but one that makes a real difference in everyday use! The original speakers have been restored with replacement diaphragms. They now provide clear, enjoyable sound again, allowing the iMac’s familiar startup chime and music to be heard without the distortion often found on ageing speakers. The CD drive has been fully restored to eliminate the common insertion and ejection problems found on many iMac G3 computers. Discs now insert smoothly and eject reliably, without hesitation or jamming—just as they should. The CRT displays a superb image. Its colour has been calibrated, bringing out the richness and warmth that make these original CRT displays so special. The computer functions perfectly. *Accessories and original contents* The original Apple keyboard has been fully disassembled and cleaned. Every key has been checked and works correctly, ready to offer the satisfying feel of an original Apple keyboard from this period. The original mouse has been cleaned and tested. The genuine Apple power cable, white with transparent connectors, is included and has been thoroughly cleaned. A USB extension cable is also included. The original documentation and restoration CDs are present. These items add to the completeness of the set and help preserve the experience of receiving the iMac when it was new. Also included is the original replacement plastic rear panel. This panel can be fitted in place of the standard rear cover to allow the connection of an RGB cable. *Condition and transparency* Every photograph in this listing shows the actual iMac and items included in this sale.
