Antonio Nunziante (1956) - Natura morta

Oil painting on canvas by Antonio Nunziante depicting a still life titled "Silent Interior". There is the certificate of authenticity shown in the photo. Hand-signed on the back. Italy, 20th century, 1970s/1980s Excellent condition Canvas size 70 x 50 cm With frame 94 x 74 cm On the left side stands out a painted reproduction of a wooden decoy duck (a nod to typical hunting decoys), flanked on the right by a plate containing fabrics or white handkerchiefs finely draped. The elements rest on a table covered with a pure satin or silk tablecloth that falls in broad, realistic folds. The soft, subdued light creates a suspended, timeless atmosphere, a clear homage to classical Flemish painting filtered through modern metaphysical sensibility. The painting is set within an important carved wooden frame with gilded decorations at the corners. Shipping with a trackable courier
