Antoine Stevens (1987) - old men

Antoine Stevens Untitled 2025 Oil on canvas 81 x 100 cm Original signed work This oil on canvas represents the face of a man with a white beard. Antoine Stevens builds the portrait with broad strokes of blue, turquoise and white. The features of the face appear amidst the brushstrokes and drips, like an image marked by the passage of time. The gaze of the model gives this composition a strong and sensitive presence. Born in 1987, Antoine Stevens is a French artist whose career began in graffiti. His work brings the energy of urban art into dialogue with the art of portraiture. He is interested in faces and emotions, leaving a lot of room for gesture and material.
