Antique Hand-painted Folding Hand Fan in Shadowbox

Delicate fan leaf features a finely rendered, romanticized hand-painted portrait of a lady standing in the center, dressed in historical attire. Flanking her on either side are soft, subtle floral accents painted in light, ethereal hues. The lower section showcases a highly detailed, openwork design with ornate ajoure piercing across the guards and sticks, mimicking traditional bone craftsmanship. The fan is beautifully preserved behind glass inside a deep, custom-fitted display frame finished with a rich gold leaf finish and a plush, muted background that accentuates the fan's neutral tones.
