** Antique embroidered silk bedspread with a large floral center for large beds

Antique silk bedspread in an intense blue color, embroidered with a floral center. This type of embroidery is repeated in that area of the cushion and also at the foot of the bed. It is a meticulous work that was done in Manila during colonial times and was brought to Spain on cargo ships. Given its dimensions, it is for a king-size bed. Antique piece that shows no stains or significant damage. The sheen of the silk makes photos a bit difficult; it is much more beautiful. Measures 250 x 225 cm.
