Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs Antique Chinese Art Deco Rug - Circa 1920 Size: 6 ft 10 in x 4 ft 2 in (2.08 m x 1.27 m) Provenance: Property of a New York dealer An unusually graphic Chinese Art Deco rug composed of colorful overlapping geometric forms that create a lively, almost kaleidoscopic surface. The design departs from conventional Chinese floral compositions, embracing the experimentation and modernism of the Art Deco era. Its vivid palette and compact size make it an exciting choice for a contemporary interior or a collector of early twentieth-century design.
