Andrea Krauß - Encounter of birches_24 XL *no reserve*

Original painting – Acrylic on canvas, 70 × 70 cm Shipped rolled, unframed Lovingly worked out to the smallest detail, the landscapes and natural spaces in Andrea Krauß’s paintings present themselves with care. In “Encounter of Birches” she treats with remarkable precision and sensitivity the depiction of birches in their natural environment. The scene painted in acrylic on wood shows three striking birch trunks that stand out from the background with their characteristic white-brown bark. Through a lively, impasto application of color, a fascinating surface texture emerges, suggesting depth and movement. The painting connects to the tradition of modern landscape painting in its choice of motif and painterly handwriting. In particular, the impressionistic understanding of light and atmosphere as well as the expressive emphasis on color, brushwork and composition find a contemporary counterpart here. The landscape is not understood solely as a faithful reproduction of nature, but as an autonomous painterly experience in which mood, color effect and personal perception of nature are central. The birch, a classic motif of European landscape art, gains a vivid presence through the contrasting color scheme and the free, structured brushwork. Thus the work unites the calm and constancy of nature with a dynamic, modern visual language. This work is not only a study of nature but also a quiet homage to the structure and elegance of the birch. Ideal for collectors of contemporary natural painting as well as lovers of atmospheric forest landscapes. Whether in the living area, the study, or a quiet retreat — this painting provides a natural yet powerful accent and brings the atmosphere of a forest walk into the room.
