Its restrained geometric composition reflects the enduring tradition of personal jewellery and signet-type rings within the Roman world. The ring features a broad, gently convex oval bezel integrated into a continuous bronze hoop. The shoulders gradually narrow towards the lower shank, producing a harmonious transition between the prominent upper section and the slender band. The bezel displays subtle linear surface traces and irregularities, giving the ring a particularly evocative archaeological character. Its undecorated appearance emphasises the sculptural qualities of the metalwork, while the broad upper surface recalls the characteristic construction of Roman signet rings. A notable feature is the richly developed dark brown and charcoal-grey surface, accompanied by localised green oxidation along the inner hoop and edges. These contrasting tones create a visually striking patina that accentuates the ring's contours and surface texture. -All items are shipped fully insured.
