Song Dynasty glaze vase - Chinese Art. Powder box with its lid, white-glazed porcelain, ribbed ornamentation. Probably from Hutian workshop, Jiangxi Province, Southern Song Dynasty. This box with its lid demonstrates the mastery of Song ceramists. Its white glaze adds purity to the object while the signature adds additional value. The light marine patina testifies to centuries spent underwater. Diameter 8.8 cm - height 4.2 cm - perfect condition Chinese Art, Song Dynasty, 960/1269 AD.
