An antique Chinese red lacquer and gilded washbasin stand...

This antique original chair is fitted with all kinds of details. Red Chinese lacquer and gilded and silvered woodcarving. Given the woodcarving, it probably comes from a southern province such as Zhejiang or Fujian. The openwork wooden panels depict scenes with traditional Chinese figures in a garden- and palace-style setting. The furniture is in a beautiful well-worn antique condition and has a lovely patina. In the top construction there are a few damages in the wood. The measurements are 188 cm high; top construction width 78 cm; seat width 52.5 cm; and depth 47 cm.
