Amethyst and Diamond Cocktail Ring

ESTIMATED RETAIL PRICE: $5,000* *This is the estimated value a piece of similar quality, craftsmanship, and characteristics could command at retail. An elongated 3.20-carat marquise amethyst commands the center of this cocktail ring, framed by a sunburst halo of round diamonds in warm yellow gold. The marquise outline is unusual for amethyst and suits it well — the long axis lets the soft lavender-purple develop depth that a round of the same weight would not show. At 23mm across the top, this is full statement scale.
