Amazing!!! Translucent TEKTITE -impact of METEORITE- SILVER PENDANT

Beautiful natural tektite pendant -meteorite impact-, of good size, and translucent of the finest quality, somewhat uncommon among indochinites. The clasp is sterling silver with inlays of CZs. A unique and exclusive gift. No two are alike. We will include a jewelry case from our CRATER brand for an ideal presentation of this jewel, along with a complimentary stainless steel chain. Indochinites like the one in this lot were formed by the impact of a large meteorite 800,000 years ago, according to the most recent studies. The shock was brutal, so that molten material covered 10% of the Earth's surface, with indochinites found even in Antarctica. Tektites are natural glass objects formed by the impact of large meteorites on the Earth’s surface. They are the driest-known minerals, with an average water content of 0.005%, even though most formed due to underwater impacts. Partial fusion of zircon has also been found inside some tektites. This, along with the water content, suggests that tektites formed under very high temperatures and pressures (similar to those needed to form diamond). We are members of the leading international meteorite-related associations, so we guarantee the authenticity for life of all our meteorites and jewelry made with this material.
