Sculpture manufactured for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by artist Pope using original graphic compositions on premium vinyl polymer, designed and cut precisely, then applied manually, as well as the artisanal integration of selected accessories to create a unique artistic composition and a refined finish. Who is Pope? Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe rooted in a practice of fine arts since childhood, with a keen eye for detail and meticulous visual research. Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and awed gaze, attentive to both simplicity and the complexity of the world around him. Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from movements of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few. Whether it’s for a gift, a keepsake, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you’ll easily find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for urban art through street art and pop art (limited or not) tackling a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (bitcoin, ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, food and fashion industry products (sport, sneakers, ...). Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope likes to mischievously divert labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many more. Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to assess the lot sold is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claim will be entertained. Thank you for your understanding.
