Tutte le aste / Etnografia / ALPINO, AESTHETIC SMOKED QUARTZ with GREEN CHLORITE...
From our selection of collectible minerals we present an aesthetic Smoky Quartz crystal with Chlorite from Grimsel Pass, Canton Uri, Switzerland. It is also characterized by the characteristic intense brown-smoky coloration, the presence of green Chlorite inclusions that create a pleasant color contrast, the good transparency of the crystal, and the well-developed natural termination, features that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and the overall aesthetic balance, with characteristics that enhance its natural structure and visual impact. The brown-smoky color of quartz is due to defects induced by natural radiation on traces of aluminum present in the quartz crystal lattice. Grimsel Pass, on the border of the cantons of Bern, Valais, and Uri, is one of the historically best-known Alpine localities for discovering smoky quartz fissures and accessory crystals such as chlorite. Chlorite, a ferromagnesian phyllosilicate, is a typical inclusion of Alpine fissures and often deposits on quartz crystal faces during growth. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always indicated in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out via reliable and carefully selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 business days in Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional, secure packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews.
