AREA: Allied Occupation - Germany (Soviet zone) MICHEL NUMBER: 46 EZ CATALOG VALUE: 1000.- € CONDITION: ✉ Letter AUTHENTICATION: ✓ Photo certificate Ströh BPP QUALITY: Flawless and fully preserved, with no value-reducing defects Description: ISSUE: 1945, 12 Pf Postmaster issue Großröhrsdorf with all-around VERSUCHSZÄHNUNG 10 1/2, on a Ortsbrief The letter was – probably accidentally – franked as a Fernbrief, which at that time and also at other times occurred quite often. Unfortunately, however, it was not postage-paid and is therefore valued only at stamp value. A sought-after Postmaster rarity. The mere stamp value already amounts to 1000,- €.
