Alex Kosta (1925-2005) - collage sur toile

Kosta Alex 1960s–1970s 47cm x29cm This is a portrait in collage of newspapers and mixed media — more precisely, a narrative self-portrait in collage form. The face is made up of pieces of newspapers, printed images, and other cut scraps of reclaimed paper, all accentuated by bold outlined line drawings. This combination of printed reclaimed materials and drawing is characteristic of collage.
