All pieces bear the signature of the renowned American architect and designer Michael Graves for Alessi (Made in Italy). The collection stands out for its geometric lines and the conical base embellished with small dome-shaped reliefs, a true stylistic manifesto bridging the late 1980s and mid-1990s. Details of the Pieces 1. Espresso Moka Pot "Pelicano" (Model 900) • Designer: Michael Graves • Producer: Alessi (Made in Italy) • Year of design: 1995 • Material: Body in die-cast aluminum. Curved handle in blue-gray/azure thermoplastic resin (polyamide) and black spherical knob. • Marks present: Original punch incised on the bottom of the boiler ("ALESSI - Italy - Michael Graves - 1995 - 900"). 2. Conical Teapot Model "MG33" • Designer: Michael Graves • Producer: Alessi (Made in Italy) • Year of design: 1988 • Material: Mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel. Handle and knob in blue and black thermoplastic resin with burgundy details. • Marks present: Original Alessi punch on the outside bottom. 3. Creamer / Milk Jug Model "9096" • Designer: Michael Graves • Producer: Alessi (Made in Italy) • Year of design: 1985 • Material: Metal with satin gray/anthracite finish. Ring-handled in blue/aqua-green resin with orange terminals. • Marks present: Alessi mark impressed on the outside bottom. Conditions and State of Preservation (Please read carefully) The items are used and vintage. They show wear and aging defects well documented in the photographic gallery, ideal for both daily use and a conservation restoration project: • Pelicano coffee pot: In good overall vintage condition. The aluminum shows the natural and widespread dulling of time and small surface marks. Internal components (filter and funnel) present. The gasket is original and shows normal signs of use. • MG33 teapot: The conical steel body shows widespread fine surface scratches from cleaning (hairlines) and the classic golden browning on the bottom due to heat. Important note for collectors: The blue plastic handle shows evident heat damage at the lower ends (near the burgundy rings); the plastic is partially melted and darkened due to exposure to flame from the burner. The handle remains structurally solid, but the defect is visible. • 9096 creamer: Overall very good condition. Shows slight and normal wear from rubbing on the upper edge of the satin finish. The colored handle is perfectly intact. Please examine closely the close-up photographs for a proper assessment of the aesthetic condition of each individual item before bidding.
