Aldo Mondino - Fiori Gialli

Splendid large-format color screen print by the Italian master Aldo Mondino, titled "Yellow Flowers" and produced in 1999. This lot presents specimen number 11 of a limited edition of only 100 copies worldwide. The work testifies to Mondino's technical and gestural mastery: the colors (red, orange, and white lacquers) are layered with exceptional tactile thickness on a saturated and extremely bright ochre-yellow background. The paper used is a fine Fedrigoni Acquerello 360 gsm. The sheet is in perfect conservation condition and is signed and numbered by hand in pencil on the lower margin. An iconic work with a strong decorative impact, ideal for collectors of Italian contemporary art.
