He studied at the Geneva School of Fine Arts from 1905 to 1909, where he received training from Édouard Ravel, James Vibert and Léon Gaud. He developed his career mainly in Lausanne, dedicating himself to painting, illustration, restoration of paintings and teaching drawing. Style and work: - Style: Swiss figurative painting from the early 20th century, with academic and naturalist influences. - Themes: landscapes, portraits, figures and intimate scenes. - Techniques: painting, drawing, pastel and illustration. - Artistic period: first half of the 20th century.
