Fascinating Italian-made desk or table alarm clock. The lot features the original manual-wind mechanism with a dial signed Veglia, a historic name in national watchmaking. The dial is set inside a rich and imposing circular case in 800 silver, finely worked with elaborate repoussé decorations and chasing with floral motifs, foliage and geometric patterns punched. The back in brass bears the inscription Made in Italy and the vintage time-setting levers. A piece with great aesthetic presence, perfect as a vintage decorative object.
