Agathe Toman – Shared Collection Fine art photography – The Forest, French Pyrenees (Payolle Lake), Spring 2026 This black-and-white photograph was taken in spring 2026, in the heart of the French Pyrenees, around Payolle lake. It belongs to the series The Forest, a photographic exploration where the landscape becomes a mental space, between presence, memory, and disappearance. Photograph taken on film with a Leica Leicaflex. The image processing, intentionally high-contrast and grainy, is inspired by the aesthetics of the great Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama. This approach gives the work a raw, organic intensity, where the photographic material is as important as the subject itself. This work is part of Agathe Toman's SHARED COLLECTION, a limited-edition series made to make her photographic work accessible to collectors. - Fine Art print on premium glossy paper. - Limited edition of 20 copies. - Work numbered and hand-signed (front and back). - Certificate of authenticity signed provided. - The photograph is carefully shipped rolled in a protective tube. - Frame not included. Agathe Toman is a French artist born in 1989. A multidisciplinary artist, she develops a practice blending drawing, painting, photography, poetry and sculpture around the links between landscape, psyche and memory. After studies at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and several years as a stylist with Parisian haute couture houses, she chose to devote herself entirely to her artistic practice. Her works are present in numerous private collections in Europe, the United States and Asia. She has been listed on Sotheby’s since 2021, where several of her works have been auctioned. Her work has notably been presented at Art Paris and published in media such as Forbes, L’Œil and ELLE. Through her photographs, Agathe Toman seeks less to document reality than to reveal what eludes it. Her images question our relationship to memory, to living beings, and to internal landscapes. Between abstraction and figuration, they invite the viewer to a contemplative experience where each person can project their own story. “ I consider my works as materializations of psychic states.
