An interesting miscellany of three rare historical, heraldic, and local studies devoted to Neapolitan heraldry and to the ecclesiastical and feudal history of Apulia and Emilia. The volume gathers the following works: 1) Luigi Volpicella, Gli stemmi nelle scritture dell'Archivio di Stato di Napoli, Trani, V. Vecchi Tipografo-Editore, 1905. PP.: 40. COMPLETE (the original wrappers are also preserved). 2) Cav. Sebastiano Luciani Canonico Palatino, Storia della Chiesa Palatina di Acquaviva delle Fonti dal 1779 sino al 1875 con cenno storico sulle condizioni civili e della Chiesa dal 465 sino al 1778, Bari, Tipi di G. Gissi e C., 1876. PP.: 354, (II). COMPLETE (the original wrappers are also preserved). 3) Clinio Cottafavi, S. Martino in Rio. Ricerche storiche (dal 1050 al 1859), Reggio nell'Emilia, Stabilimento Tipo-Litografico degli Artigianelli, 1885. PP.: 180, (II). COMPLETE. A copy with plates/maps overall in very good condition, with the usual signs of use and aging. Present a rich manuscript informational apparatus and autograph ex libris of the noble Salvatore Rango d'Aragona. Contemporary half-leather binding, with some wear but well preserved overall. The spine bears the owner’s gilded initials and gold-impressed ornaments. Marbled endpapers and speckled (spruzzate) edges.
