A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI ORMOLU FLAGONS CIRCA 1780 On circular stands, each decorated with a ram's head and a winged mermaid 25cm high, 10cm wide, 8cm deep Provenance: Acquired from Mallett Ltd London, London 5th May 2015 Condition Report: With mild wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. Small black old surface and handling deposits. Small casting faults, colour variance to gilding by design. Slight variance in cast details notably applied arch mount to bottom of stem to neck and one griffin with piercing to nose.
