E. DENT / PARIS’ MOVEMENTS: the twin barrel eight-day movements with platform lever escapements, repeat button to top of cases, striking a hammer to single bell mounted on the backplate, stamped to each backplate ‘R. E. DENT / Paris’ and variously stamped to cases and movements ’34 / 880’ and ’40 / 881’ respectively
