A pair of Chinese bronze figures of Guanyin Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) the Goddess of Mercy shown seated in dhyanasana on a raised lotus throne, each constructed in three parts, 2489 grams and 2499 grams 30cm high Provenance: By family descent from the Reverend Joseph Stonehouse (often cited as J. Stonehouse). He was a British Protestant missionary with the London Missionary Society (LMS) in North China.
