A GEORGE III MAHOGANY AND YELLOW UPHOLSTERED GAINSBOROUGH ARMCHAIR CIRCA 1780 103cm high, 65cm wide, 75cm deep Condition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age anduse. The upholstery is in clean, new condition, the seat, back, and arm rests arewell padded. The webbing is in good, tight condition. The frame is solid and stable with no movement to the joints.Some old minor chips and splits. Some old repairs, there is a dowel repair where the central stretcher has been re-securedto the side stretcher. Some evidence of old worm to the underside.
