A Collection of German Porcelain Miniature Shoe Figurines

A collection of porcelain miniature shoe figurines in assorted styles, featuring green and white glazes with various animal companions. The group includes a low-heeled shoe with a small pink pig, a high-heeled shoe with an interior white cat and applied floral decoration, a lace-up bootie with an attached iridescent elephant, and a small boot accompanied by a detached pink pig. The high-heeled shoe features an impressed mark on the base of the heel reading 2431 above a circular logo containing a stylized B. The small boot bears a circular stamped mark on the base with a central ML surrounded by a ring reading MADE IN GERMANY. Handwritten inscriptions are present on several pieces, including the side of the boot in gold script and the base of the elephant shoe which reads Souvenir of Whitby in dark ink.
