5pc Vintage Japanese Ceramics and Novelty Pottery

An assortment of vintage Japanese ceramics featuring varied glazes and decorative styles. The collection includes a Satsuma style ginger jar with a cream crackle glaze, decorated in polychrome enamels and gilding with pheasants among flowers and pine branches, marked on the underside with a rectangular red stamp containing two Japanese characters above the word JAPAN. A figural earthenware pitcher depicts Hotei (Laughing Buddha) with several small karako children, finished in earthy matte glazes with a branch form handle. A pair of rectangular ceramic dishes features notched corners and floral sprigs, each bearing a black circular stamp on the base reading MORIKIN WARE over a central symbol with MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN below. The collection is completed by a cylindrical ceramic tea cup with a ribbed exterior and celadon crackle glaze, featuring minimalist plum blossom branches and a red MADE IN JAPAN stamp on the underside.
