A small bronze medal, designed by sculptor Pierre-Victor Dautel, was issued for the 1927 visit of the American Legion to France, its obverse depicting a soldier and worker clasping hands beneath the inscription "Pour Toujours" ("Forever"), the reverse showing the convoy that carried the delegation across the Atlantic. The fourth, a high-tin bronze medal, bears on its obverse a bust of an eagle flanked by portrait busts of Columbus and Washington beneath the words "World's Columbian Exposition" and "Chicago," and on its reverse a landing scene inscribed "October 1492" over "Landing of the Pilgrims," commemorating the discovery of America.Size of largest (New York World's Fair): 2.5" D (6.3 cm D) Item # 201452
