2pc S. Jouglas Provencal Santons Terracotta Figurines

Traditional French santons figurines in painted terracotta and mixed textiles, handcrafted by Simone Jouglas. The male figurine wears a wide-brimmed felt hat, floral vest, red fabric sash, and corduroy trousers, and he holds a white clay hen. The female figurine is dressed in a lace coiffe, floral shawl, striped apron, and quilted skirt, carrying a wooden cradle on her head and a separate wicker basket containing clay eggs.
