20th century Chinese limited edition bronze Ding or cooking vessel, modelled on the Shang dynasty original (16th-11th century BC), the hemispherical basin with loop handles or lugs on three dragon supports, the whole decorated in Archaistic tradition, with accompanying Certificate of Authenticity stating: "This is to certify that this Replica accurately reproduces an original Ancient Bronze in the Collection of the Palace Museum, Beijing. It has been cast using the ancient lost wax process in bronze of similar analysis to the original. The patination has been faithfully copied to convey that of the original piece.
