The Arione vineyard is located in the southernmost part of Serralunga d'Alba (adjacent to the famous Francia cru). It is known for producing Barolos of extraordinary structure, depth, and longevity. Appearance: Intense garnet red, clear and bright, with subtle orange reflections as it evolves. Nose: Complex and deep aromatic profile. Prominent notes of ripe red and black fruits (cherry, plum, blackberry) emerge, combined with floral hints of violet and dried rose. You can sense balsamic nuances, sweet spices, leather, tobacco, liquorice, damp earth, and the mineral/ferrous notes typical of the Serralunga terroir. Palate: High impact on the palate, structured and elegant. It presents a dense texture of powerful yet fine tannins, supported by fresh acidity. The finish is long, savory, and persistent, with returning notes of ripe fruit, aromatic herbs, and spices.
