2021 André Goichot - Pouilly Fuissé - 4 Bottles (0.75L)

2021 André Goichot – Pouilly-Fuissé – White Burgundy Four bottles of classic Pouilly-Fuissé from Maison André Goichot, a Burgundy house established in 1947. Made entirely from Chardonnay, this wine offers the richness, elegance and mineral character that make this renowned Mâconnais appellation so appealing. Classic Burgundy craftsmanship Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in oak barrels, followed by approximately twelve months of maturation. This contributes depth and texture to a wine whose aromatic profile combines citrus and white fruit with almond, hazelnut and mineral nuances. Rich and expressive, it is a gastronomic Chardonnay with the character to complement fine seafood and creamy sauces. 2021 vintage — Vivino 4.0/5 Now approximately five years from harvest, this lot offers the opportunity to enjoy Pouilly-Fuissé with some bottle age. Given the producer’s indicated ageing potential of three to five years, these bottles are best considered for enjoyment now, assuming appropriate storage. Lot details Producer: Maison André Goichot Appellation: Pouilly-Fuissé AOC Region: Mâconnais, Burgundy, France Vintage: 2021 Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay Type: Dry white wine Alcohol: 13% Quantity: 4 × 750 ml — 3 litres in total Label condition: Several labels show scuffs and tears, as visible in the photographs. Serve at 10–12°C alongside lobster, prawns, poultry in a cream sauce or veal. An inviting four-bottle selection for lovers of traditional white Burgundy.
