Château La Courtiade Bordeaux Supérieur 2019 International Challenge, Wine Gold Medal 2021 is a French wine from the Bordeaux region, classified as Bordeaux Supérieur. This classification indicates that the wine meets stricter standards than regular Bordeaux wines, often resulting in higher quality and complexity. 85% Merlot 10% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Cabernet Franc Color ntense ruby red hue. Elegant and rich, featuring aromas of ripe fruits like blackcurrant and plum, complemented by subtle toasted notes. Palate: Fresh and generous, revealing flavors of blackberry and blackcurrant, with a generous finish and spicy fruit notes. This wine pairs well with charcuterie, grilled meats or fish, tapas, pies, pasta, cheeses, or light desserts. It's best served at a temperature between 15°C and 17°C. The 2019 vintage is considered excellent for aging. While the wine is enjoyable now, it also has the potential to develop further complexity over the next 3-5 years. Château La Courtiade is produced by Univitis, a cooperative comprising 135 winegrowers and their families, located between Bordeaux and Bergerac. They produce 15 AOP wines and are involved in every step of production, from vine cultivation to bottling and sales.
