2018 Kellerei Kurtatsch

Redefining the boundaries of what is possible – that was the ambition in the creation of TRES. The qualitative crown jewel of the winegrowing sites in Kurtatsch is the warm and steep Brenntal site. Thanks to the great day/night temperature difference and the ideal soils for Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, an unrivaled alpine-mediterranean cuvée emerges. In the very best vintages, the three oldest and finest plots of our three key varieties are harvested and vinified at the lowest yields. The wine then spends as long in barrel and in the bottle as needed until the ideal drinking window opens. Three values, symbolized by three cypresses and the best of three grape varieties united in one wine: TRES.
