We selected the finest Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino casks at the estate and dressed them in the label we used in the 1950s reminiscent of the vintage Brunello Riservas that many of these long-standing clients still have on their shelves or in their cellars. These exclusive, high-quality, and elegantly packaged bottles are available solely to our Italian clients, as Fattoria dei Barbi has always taken pride in maintaining the majority of its sales within the domestic market. This is a gesture of loyalty toward the many shops, restaurants, wine bars, and businesses that have placed their trust in us throughout our company’s long history an offer that will remain exclusive to them. The “Colombini” Brunello di Montalcino is a classic expression, distinguished by a stylistic affinity with the great wines we produced in the 1950s and 60s an era also evoked by the label design. It is a Brunello built for long aging: austere, with slightly higher alcohol content and greater extract, yet above all elegant true to the Fattoria dei Barbi tradition. It is vinified in strict accordance with production regulations—using 100% pure Sangiovese grapes.
