2016 Weingut Ökonomierat Rebholz Weisser Burgunder Vom...

The village wines – or rather, terroir wines – of the Ökonomierat Rebholz winery always reflect the origin of their soils. In the case of the Pinot Blanc from Siebeldingen, the calcareous limestone soil of the Im Sonnenschein vineyard shapes the character of this delicate wine. Following traditional Rebholz methods, the grapes are destemmed and left on the skins for a day before being gently pressed and, after natural sedimentation, fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. Each parcel is vinified separately – the final cuvée is only created after aging.
